The assault caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by a substance believed to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be pepper spray.

The assault - which authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
